Documents required for Philippines Visa

  • Original Passport with at least 6 months validity and minimum 3 blank pages + all old passports if any;
  • Visa Application form;
  •  1 visa application Form (Form Should be checked for Single Entry Visa only as the Embassy does not issues Multiple Entry Visas) .
  • 2 recent colour photographs.view image
  • Personal Covering letter (For Employed - Plain paper/ For Self-Employed – Company Letterhead);
  • Original updated Bank Statement with sufficient balance. (last 6 months);
  • Credit Card copy and last 3 month’s statement or Foreign exchange receipt;
  • Income Tax Returns / Form 16 for last 3 years;
  • Confirmed Air ticket;
  • Hotel confirmation and payment receipt;
  • Supporting Financial Documents such as Fixed Deposits, Property Investments, Other Investments etc. (Optional);

Kindly note: The Govt is very strict on the photograph requirement; please ensure that your photos are as per the specifications.

 

Supporting documents as per your occupation, type of visit:

1. If Employed:

  • Original Leave sanctioned certificate with company seal, signatory’s name and designation;
  • Last 3 months salary slip with company stamp.

2. If Self Employed:

  • Business Registration License / MOA / Partnership deed;
  • Company’s updated bank statement of last 6 months;
  • Company’s IT returns for last 3 years.

3. If Retired:

  • Proof of retirement like pension book, statement etc.

4. If Student:

  • School / College / Institute ID Card;
  • Bonafide certificate.

5. If Minor:

  • Birth Certificate;
  • No Objection Certificate from the parents / non-accompanying parent on Rs 100/- stamp paper;
  • ID proof of parent like passport or PAN card.

6. If Visiting friend or relative:

  • Invitation letter;
  • Inviter’s ID proof like Passport or Resident Permit;
  • Address proof like any Electricity bill, any Utility bill etc.

7. If Sponsored:

  • Sponsorship letter;
  • Sponsor’s national ID proof like Passport, PAN card or Resident permit;
  • Updated bank statement of last 6 months;
  • Income tax returns of last 3 years.

8. For Business Visa:

  • Invitation letter from host Company stating purpose of trip, business details etc;
  • Covering letter from Indian company on company letterhead.

Consulate/Embassy of Philippines follow Visa Jurisdiction (Geographical Coverage of each Consulate), Place of Residence of Applicant continuously for last 6 months will decide his jurisdiction for Visa & then accordingly he has to apply for visa to respective Embassy/Consulate falling under his visa jurisdiction.

9. What is the process for collection of passports?

Either passenger can personally go to Embassy/Consulate where he has submitted his application & collect the passport OR He can authorize any other Person or Travel agent by giving Authority Letter & submission receipt issued by Consulate/Embassy at the time of submission.

10. What is Visa Free Entry?

Indian nationals who wish to visit the Philippines for tourism purposes may be granted visa-free entry into the country in any port of entry (major international airports and secondary international hubs (SIHs), as well as in seaports by passengers on board cruise ships/vessels) for an initial authorized stay not exceeding fourteen (14) days, provided they possess the following:
1. Either a valid (used or unused) American (US), Japanese, Australian, Canadian, Schengen, United Kingdom, or Singaporean multiple-entry visa or permanent residence permit.
2. An Indian passport valid at least six (6) months beyond the date of departure from the Philippines
3. Return or onward ticket to the next country of destination; and
4. No derogatory record with the Philippine Bureau of Immigration.

The fourteen (14) day, visa-free entry may be extended by an additional seven (7) days with the Philippine Bureau of Immigration for a maximum stay of twenty-one (21) days but is non-convertible to other visa categories.
