FAQ of United States Visas

1. For USA Visa is it necessary to go personally for Visa submission OR can any agent or representative can submit on my behalf?

For USA Visa, Biometrics (Fingerprint + Live Photo) is mandatory for all applicants at Visa Application Centers & Personal Interview at USA Consulate/Embassy hence Applicant has to appear in person twice for his USA Visa application once in Visa Application Center & then in Consulate.
Hence application cannot be submitted through Travel Agent/Visa Agent.

If You are in possession of valid Multiple entry USA Visa on your old passport of the same category which is required for your current journey & if passport details on your new passport match with details mentioned on your visa except Passport No. I.e. Name, Date of Birth, Gender etc. then you can very well travel by carrying both Old & New passports without transferring visa from old to New Passport.

6. If I need to apply for any other Visa simultaneously along with USA Visa, is it possible?

Technically answer to this question is NO but process for USA Visa being Online & appointment based, if you are planning journey to 2 countries like USA and Canada.
One can first apply visa for another Country i.e. Canada & when Application is under process for Canada, simultaneously we can schedule Appointment for USA Visa by considering time frame required to process visa for another country i.e. Canada in our example & accordingly book appointment date for USA Interview & Biometrics, in this way one can save time.
